About Emma

Emma Pottage is a Devon based artist who graduated from the University of the West of England in 2019. Her work is inspired by working with different materials and experimenting with paint. Space, mark, texture and colour are all at the forefront of Emma’s practice. The paintings also act as a release for emotions and feelings regarding Emma’s own mental health.

Emma graduated with a first class honors degree in Drawing and Printmaking with two additional painting prizes. She was awarded the Innes-Wilkin Art in Architecture prize along side the UWE Vice Chancellor’s Painting Purchase Prize in June 2019.
